Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and responsible service at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service procedures
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards guests
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A personable attitude with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
