An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates Department at the University of Warwick for a proactive and customer focused Business Support Assistant.
As part of the Business Support Team, you will play an important role in helping the Estates Department operate efficiently and effectively. The team provides a wide range of business support across Estates.

About You
As a Business Support Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support to a designated area of the Estates Department, whilst contributing to the wider Business Support Team's objectives. You will help coordinate a range of activities, support departmental processes, maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for managing a variety of day-to-day business support activities, including meeting administration, responding to enquiries, maintaining documentation and records, supporting HR processes, and assisting with data management and reporting. The role also requires flexibility to support other teams and priorities across the Department when required.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Experience of providing administrative or business support within a busy working environment.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to competing deadlines.
A strong customer service focus and the ability to respond professionally to a range of enquiries.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook, together with experience of maintaining electronic records and databases.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team.
The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally and appropriately.
A flexible approach and willingness to support a variety of business activities across the Estates Department.
