Counterbalance FLT Driver
£14.00 per hour days | Full-time | Temporary
We are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy agricultural operation based near Brigg.
This is a hands-on role where you will spend part of your day operating a forklift and part of your time supporting the wider yard operation. Previous experience working in an agricultural, grain or similar environment would be advantageous.
The Role
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Moving and handling grain and seed products
- Attaching and handling bulk bags
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site
- Supporting general yard and manual duties
- Working as part of a busy team
- Following site health & safety procedures
This is a physically demanding position, so you must be comfortable carrying out manual duties alongside your FLT work.
Shift Pattern
- 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
- 6:00am - 2:00pm Saturdays
All successful candidates will initially work day shifts for training and to learn the role. Once fully trained and competent, there is the opportunity to move onto the night shift and enhanced pay.
Pay - £14.00 per hour – Days
With 5-6 days available each week, this offers excellent earning potential for experienced FLT Drivers.
What We're Looking For
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Reliable and hardworking
- Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Able to work as part of a team
- Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times
