Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, specialty drinks, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operations
- Locking and cashing up procedures
- Train and mentor junior bartenders to uphold service quality and consistency
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Ensure responsible serving practices by verifying guest IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations related to beverage preparation and service
- Proven experience in restaurant or bar environments, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and inventory management
- Exceptional time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse guests and team members
- Leadership qualities to guide junior staff and foster a positive team atmosphere
