Job Summary
Liquorice Wine & Deli is an independent wine shop, bar and deli with a passion for great wine, outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable team member to join us on a part-time basis, primarily working Friday and Saturday evenings, with occasional additional shifts possibly available.
Whether you already have experience in hospitality or simply have a genuine interest in wine and cheese, and are keen to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity.
What you'll be doing
- Welcoming and looking after customers in our wine bar & shop.
- Serving wine, beers, spirits, cheese and charcuterie.
- Helping customers choose wines and making recommendations.
- Assisting with retail sales in the shop.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Helping with clean down and closing duties.
- Working as part of a small, supportive and independent team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about good food, wine and hospitality.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Available to work most Friday and Saturday evenings.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
Previous bar, restaurant, café or retail experience is proffered—personality, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.
