Accounts & Audit Senior – Doncaster
£35,000 - £45,000 + Study Support + Excellent Benefits
Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Doncaster.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to join a growing practice offering a varied workload, genuine career progression and exposure to an impressive portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will split their time between accounts preparation and audit assignments, working closely with Managers and Partners while developing strong client relationships.
As an Accounts & Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting the wider tax team where required.
- Preparing management accounts and assisting clients with financial reporting.
- Supervising and mentoring trainees and junior members of the team.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, responding to queries and providing practical business advice.
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on a range of accounts, audit and advisory projects.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
- Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and undertaking audit assignments.
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and corporation tax.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
