Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the cleaning team across a food production site. Carry out regular cleaning audits, ensuring all standards are met and corrective actions are completed promptly. Provide hands‑on supervision, guidance, and support the team members, ensuring consistent service delivery. Manage staff sickness. Deliver on‑the‑spot training and refresher sessions to ensure correct cleaning techniques and compliance with control procedures. Monitor performance and support staff development. Liaise with the Facilities leadership to resolve issues and maintain excellent communication. Ensure all equipment, materials, and cleaning products are used safely and in line with COSHH regulations. Respond promptly to any concerns or incidents relating to cleanliness or service standards. Support the implementation of new processes, audits, and service improvements. We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in supervising cleaning teams, to achieve high‑standards. Confident in carrying out audits and maintaining compliance with set standards.
Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced setting. A strong communicator with the ability to motivate and support staff. We're looking for a Cleaning supervisor who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.
Contract: Permanent
Type: Cleaning
Hours: 37.5 hours a week.
Pay: £13.87 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm)

Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
- Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
- Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
- Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
- Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service
What we're looking for:
- Ability to communicate and read basic English
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude
- Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
