Overview
The Marketing Executive is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective marketing strategies that promote the organisation's products and services. The role focuses on delivering marketing plans in a timely manner, ensuring brand identity is consistently applied across all platforms, managing websites, automations, and CRM systems, and tracking marketing and sales performance to drive continuous improvement.
The role also provides administrative and sales support where required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Research, develop, and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Ensure brand identity, tone of voice, and visual standards are applied consistently across all marketing channels, platforms, and materials.
- Support the timely execution of marketing strategies and campaigns in line with agreed schedules and priorities.
- Contribute innovative ideas, research, and insights to support strategic marketing development for MAA.
- Detail, design, and execute marketing plans for each product, service, or course.
- Set and manage marketing schedules in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
Campaigns, Sales & Performance
- Devise and implement sales and promotional strategies, including special offers, campaigns, and sponsored events.
- Analyse market trends, demographics, pricing, and performance data to inform marketing and sales decisions.
- Generate and present regular marketing and sales performance reports to management.
- Assign or coordinate tasks with team members for marketing or sales-related projects when required.
Website, CRM & Automations
- Manage the organisation's website, landing pages, and related marketing automations.
- Maintain and optimise CRM automations to support marketing, sales, enrolment, and onboarding processes.
- Ensure Airtable records, trackers, and automations remain accurate, up to date, and effective.
- Manage automations and trackers relating to students, job boards, short courses, workshops, and relevant programmes.
- Manage the LearnDash platform to ensure it operates effectively and supports learner journeys.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Create engaging social media posts and short-form videos on a monthly basis using Canva templates.
- Implement social media strategies to improve brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
- Monitor and respond to social media enquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain monthly social media performance reporting and insights.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Support
- Support when necessary to respond to client enquiries regarding courses, apprenticeships, and training opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers through excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including assessors, lecturers, tutors, and operational teams when required.
- Represent the organisation at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and data management standards.
- Support student enrolment and onboarding automations, following established checklists and processes.
- Maintain accurate enquiry lists and records, ensuring all follow-ups are completed.
- Undertake general office and administrative duties as required to support the wider team.
Additional Responsibilities
- Execute marketing campaigns in line with the agreed monthly marketing schedule.
- Support wider sales activity and undertake additional sales-related duties where required.
- Assist with continuous improvement of marketing systems, processes, and reporting.
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in a marketing executive or similar marketing role.
- Demonstrable skills in social media management, content creation, and campaign delivery.
- Experience managing CRM systems and marketing automations.
- Proficiency with Canva, website CMS platforms, and email marketing tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a small team.
Desirable
- Experience in the education, training, or apprenticeship sector.
- Familiarity with Airtable, LearnDash, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Dept of Education -funded apprenticeship programmes or the early years sector.
- Experience of SEO, paid social, or Google Ads.
Pay: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
