Job Overview
We’re looking for a Bar Supervisor pragmatic, enthusiastic, friendly, and hard-working to support the day-to-day running of our busy brunch café/bar. You will lead by example, delivering excellent customer service while keeping operations running smoothly throughout each shift. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, confident, with a dynamic approach when required, able to motivate a team, maintaining high standards in a fast-paced and welcoming environment.
Minimum Age Requirement

Duties
- Supervising bar staff and providing ongoing support and guidance
- Managing inventory and assisting with ordering supplies
- Creating drink menus, seasonal specials, and promotional offerings
- Producing engaging content for social media and supporting marketing activities
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Training new employees on bar procedures and service standards
- Supporting the onboarding of new recruits and helping them integrate into the team
- Carrying out cashing-up procedures and overseeing end-of-day checks
Requirements
- two years previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food production and kitchen operations
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to take charge, delegate staff effectively, and solve problems confidently, with a happy and friendly positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be capable of working unsupervised during busy shifts while consistently maintaining the high standards and expectations required. Strong attention to housekeeping and cleanliness is essential to ensure the venue looks and feels welcoming at all times. During daytime service, we offer a brunch menu, so barista experience would be useful but not essential. Clear communication with all staff while maintaining smooth venue operations is a key part of this role.
