Exciting Opportunity: Residential Child Care Manager
Hopscotch Care are opening a brand new children’s home, and we’re looking for a motivated and child-centred Registered Manager to lead it through registration and beyond. This is an opportunity to open a new home, shape the culture from day one, and put your personal stamp on the environment, routines, and staff team. Whether you’re an experienced Registered Manager or an ambitious Deputy with the right qualifications, this role offers a real chance to grow and progress. We’re looking for someone with proven management experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to balance a varied workload. You’ll be at the heart of creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Support, motivate, and develop your staff team
- Ensure high standards of care for young people
- Handle all aspects of documentation and compliance with confidence
- Liaise effectively with external agencies
- Organise staffing levels to meet the needs of the home
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a care setting
- Diploma Level 5 or happy to be working towards this in Residential Child Care (or equivalent)- must have a Level 3 Diploma in residential childcare.
- A flexible approach to working shifts across a 7-day rota, including on-call duties
- Someone hardworking, organised, and committed to making a difference
