Part-Time Cleaning Operative – 10 Hours per Week
Location: Peckfield Business Park, Phoenix Avenue, Micklefield, Leeds, LS25 4DY
Hours: 8:30am–10:30am, five mornings per week
Contract: Part-time, 10 hours per week
We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Cleaning Operative to maintain clean, safe and welcoming premises at Peckfield Business Park.
The position involves working two hours each morning, five days per week. The successful candidate will also have key-holding responsibilities, so reliability, punctuality and trustworthiness are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, communal areas, kitchens and washrooms
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning and washroom supplies
- Following health and safety procedures
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or supply shortages
- Securely opening and locking the premises as required
- Managing keys responsibly and following site security procedures
- Setting or deactivating the alarm where applicable
About you
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Trustworthy and comfortable undertaking key-holding duties
- Good attention to detail
- Able to complete cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Able to travel reliably to the site for an 8:30am start
