Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to guests in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Prepare and organise bar supplies, ensuring all beverages are stocked and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations, including cleaning bar areas and equipment regularly.
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and adherence to house policies.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist with organising events or special functions held at the venue.
- Handle guest enquiries promptly, providing information about menu offerings and services.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for the role.

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
