About us:
Little Street is an award winning play centre for young children, themed as a miniature version of a typical town, inspiring children to explore life in the world around them. Open 7 days a week, our leisure facilities provide a fun and educational play environment for children and their parents/carers. We have a small cafe onsite serving drinks and pre packaged snacks.
The role:
We are currently looking to recruit a part time Play Centre Assistant to work a Saturday or Sunday (must have flexibility to work either) and during school holidays. This is an ideal role for someone looking to work around their college timetable or other part time commitments.
Key responsibilities:
1. Meeting and greeting customers.
2. Taking food & drinks orders / making and serving hot drinks.
3. Overseeing play and tidying the play rooms.
4. Cleaning duties.
5. Preparing for and assisting during birthday parties.
Skills & experience required:
· Good customer service skills.
· Enthusiastic about working in child centred environment.
· Works well under pressure.
· Displays ability to use own initiative.
· Responsible and reliable.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
