The Family Practice is a large, friendly GP Practice in St John's, Woking. We are a team of 40 staff who work collaboratively within the practice and other healthcare providers within the area. We strive to ensure all staff have a positive experience whilst at work and that patients are well-cared for and listened to.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our Practice team in providing essential healthcare services. The ideal candidate will assist our pharmacist with processing hospital letters that require medication changes. They will also assist our team in processing prescription requests for approval by the Doctors along with ensuring all relevant tests are completed prior to prescribing
Responsibilities
- Support the team in processing medication requests accurately
- Assist patients with prescription inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
- Help in the administration of medications under pharmacist supervision
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar role is desirable
- Proficiency in patient care and medication administration
- Qualified as a Pharmacy Technician
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
