Baby & Toddler Swimming Teacher (STA BPS Qualified or Training Provided)
Location: Wellingborough and Wollaston
Hours : 3–6 hours per week (term-time only), including weekend teaching sessions
Infant Aquatics is a specialist baby and toddler swimming school dedicated to creating positive early experiences in the water. As our programme continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Swimming Teacher to join our friendly team.
Whether you already hold the STA Baby & Preschool (BPS) qualification or are interested in gaining it, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver engaging and enjoyable baby and toddler swimming lessons in line with the Infant Aquatics programme.
- Create a safe, supportive and positive learning environment for children and their parents.
- Follow STA teaching and safety guidelines at all times.
- Plan and prepare lessons appropriate to the age and ability of your classes.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and class information.
- Build positive relationships with families and support each child’s development and confidence in the water.
What we’re looking for
- A genuine passion for working with babies, young children and their families.
- Confidence in the water and strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in swimming instruction, teaching, childcare, early years education or a related role is desirable.
- STA Baby & Preschool Swimming qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- A willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications where required.
- Reliable, organised and professional with a positive attitude.
