Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be able to work efficiently under pressure, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve multiple customers promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within a bar or restaurant setting, is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proven ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding licensing laws is beneficial
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
