We are recruiting a Project Supervisor / Team Leader to coordinate a single person supported living service. This is a hands-on leadership role combining frontline care with supervision, service coordination, and quality oversight.
Key responsibilities
Deliver person-centred holistic support with the person actively involved in their care decisions and support, always listened to, and supported to enjoy a Good Life. Coordinate holistic approach to care of the person including their home, mobility vehicle, and family involvement.
Support daily life, taking part on the support team roster. Assist with home skills, meals, nutrition, health appointments, medication, finances, community participation and tenancy responsibilities. Shifts include days, nights (sleep-ins), and some weekend working.
Promote outcomes and protect dignity. Build independence and progress towards personal goals. Provide care sensitively and respectfully and safeguard the individual's continued inclusion and reputation.
Lead the project and support team. Ensure care and support are provided consistently, within the current support plan and assessed risks. Supervise and develop your staff team so they are competent, confident, are well informed and feel supported. Participate in the out of hours roster with supervisory/management colleagues.
Assure safety, quality and compliance. Check records kept at home, including medication, finances, home safety and service quality are accurate and in line with the support plan; administration and auditing sessions are scheduled within the roster.
Safeguard. Protect people from abuse, exploitation, neglect, discrimination and degrading treatment; follow safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures. Ensure any concerns, errors, incidents and safeguarding matters are acted on and escalated promptly.
Working Times
This is a permanent position with rota-based working pattern including sleep-ins. Position available to Applicants seeking Full-Time 37.5 hours per week (or at least 30 hours).
Skills and qualities
The Supervisor sets the standard. As frontline workers, they must be punctual, reliable, experienced care workers, honest, accountable, and an exemplar of professional conduct. They must be flexible and dependable in a rota-based role.
The Supervisor must have previous supervisory and/or care coordination experience. They must be confident using systems and managing documentation, be able to give clear instructions, communicate clearly and professionally, and provide feedback / support as required.
Training background should support their application for a supervisory care role, ideally with Health and Social Care Training at Diploma Level 4 or higher (or working towards).
Manual UK driver’s license and able to travel to various locations in and around Droitwich, including Kidderminster and Worcester.
Pay & benefits
- £13.83 per hour basic rate (minimum £30,788.61 per annum 37.5 hours per week plus 3 sleep-ins and 1 out of hours session per fortnight)
