Regional Surveyor – Central & West London
Home Based Role | Prestigious London Patch | Become the Local Expert
We’re looking for a talented, fully qualified Surveyor (MRICS / FRICS / AssocRICS) with strong post qualification experience (or ability to develop) to join our team as a home based Regional Surveyor covering some of the most sought after London postcodes:
NW1, NW6, NW8, NW10, SW1, SW3, SW5, SW6, SW7, SW10, W, WC, and EC.
If you’re driven, commercially aware, and passionate about delivering high quality valuations and expert insight — this role offers the perfect blend of autonomy, influence, and professional development in an environment where your expertise is genuinely respected.
Purpose of the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering high quality valuations in line with:
- Company lending criteria
- RICS Red Book standards
- Paragon’s internal guidance and expectations
Your expert insight will directly support lending decisions, strategy, and risk management across the business.
About You
Key Responsibilities
Local Expert & Gatekeeper
Act as the primary expert for your postcode region
Own and manage valuation flow and queries
Provide local oversight of panel valuer input and recommendations
Relationship & Panel Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with local panel valuers
Offer guidance and support to ensure quality and consistency
Professional Advisory
Deliver high‑quality, credible, and professional advice as the face of the Group
Ensure full compliance with RICS regulations, internal requirements, and industry standards
Market Knowledge & Technical Insight
Stay fully up to date on:
Local market trends
Legislative changes
Specialist sectors, including HMOs
Provide informed insight to support lending decisions
Case Support
Assist with:
Receiver of Rent cases
Repossession matters
Power of Sale processes
Strategic Input
Produce Market Reports and local intelligence to support Group strategy
Contribute to wider business lines, including:
Development Finance
Due Diligence
Other specialist lending areas
Internal Collaboration
Regular team meetings and CPD days
Qualifications and Experience
Professional competence/qualification (MRICS / FRICS / AssocRICS) and Valuer Registration scheme.
Up-to-date CPD.
Clean current driving licence.

Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (one hour for lunch).
