Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Buyer to join the team based in Telford.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for materials and services required for shellroom systems.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal terms and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support the company's operational goals.
- Monitor market trends to identify new suppliers or alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement within manufacturing or preferably project manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP
- The ability to react quickly and work both operationally and strategically
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
