Summary
We're seeking a passionate Barista or a person willing to to train to be a Barista and join our team at Fred & Doug's. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant cafe environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to our menu standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed during food preparation.
- Manage time effectively to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and address any inquiries or requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in food preparation and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and orders.
