Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking for a fresh opportunity within a friendly, forward-thinking dealership group?
Penton Motor Group is looking for a confident, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy Aftersales team at either our Christchurch or Poole dealership.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone already working within the motor trade who understands the pace of a busy Service Department and enjoys delivering great customer service.

£1,500 bonus opportunity for direct applicants
We are offering a bonus incentive for candidates who apply to us directly and are not introduced through a recruitment agency.
You will receive:
£500 bonus payment once you have successfully completed your probation period.
£1,000 bonus payment once you have completed your manufacturer accreditations.

What you will be doing
As a Service Advisor, you will be one of the key links between our customers and the workshop. Your day-to-day role will include:
Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for service, MOT, repair and diagnostic work.
Listening carefully to customer concerns and accurately recording vehicle requirements.
Keeping customers updated throughout the day.
Liaising with technicians, parts and workshop control.
Explaining recommended work clearly and professionally.
Gaining customer authorisation for additional work.
Preparing invoices and taking payments.
Helping to deliver a smooth, professional and positive customer experience.
Supporting the department with diary control and administration.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and comfortable working in a busy aftersales environment.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, Service Receptionist, Workshop Controller or similar motor trade role.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
Good attention to detail.
Confidence using dealership systems and digital processes.
A positive, professional and team-focused attitude.
A full UK driving licence.
