At A Little Me Time Nursery, we are a warm, nurturing, bilingual (English & Mandarin) nursery dedicated to providing exceptional care and high-quality early years education. We are looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our nursery, lead an enthusiastic team, build strong partnerships with families and drive outstanding outcomes for children.
Position

- Monday to Friday
About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead and inspire a positive, supportive and high-performing staff team.
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
- Ensure the nursery consistently meets and exceeds EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
- Drive high standards of teaching, learning and care through mentoring, coaching and professional development.
- Build trusting relationships with children, parents and the local community.
- Support the continued growth and development of our nursery through innovative ideas and excellent leadership.
- Promote an inclusive environment where every child is respected, valued and supported to reach their full potential.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting.
- Experience leading a successful Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspection.
- Thorough knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding legislation and Ofsted requirements.
- Excellent understanding of child development, including supporting children with additional needs and SEND.
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting staff supervision, appraisals and supporting professional development.
- Excellent communication skills with children, families, staff and external professionals.
- Confident in assessment, planning, observations and maintaining high-quality records.
- Ability to write professional reports, policies, letters and emails.
- Flexible, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a busy nursery environment.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding childcare and creating positive experiences for children and families.
Desirable
- SENCo experience or knowledge.
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience in marketing, community engagement or supporting nursery occupancy growth.
- An interest in bilingual education and multicultural learning.
