We’re looking for a new member of staff to join our friendly team moving customer vehicles within our Gatwick Airport site on a casual basis, working shifts of 04:00am - 10:00am, or flexible early morning shifts. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
This site serves customers travelling to and from Gatwick Airport and consequently the role is extremely fast paced.
The successful candidate with be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of customer vehicles within the site and their main duties will include:
- Maintain the safe, careful and efficient movement and parking of customer vehicles.
- Report any damage immediately to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Ensure cars are parked correctly in designated areas.
- Maintain a quick, efficient and polite service for customers with start-up or other problems.
- Help maintain a good working environment and help keep the site clean and tidy for customers and colleagues
- Ensure the Arrivals area is kept clear for incoming vehicles.
- Handle all supplied equipment with care and respect.
- Ensure vehicles are brought to the returns area ready for customer collection in correct order.
- Follow instructions of the Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Maintain a smart and presentable appearance.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Team Leader/Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
As driving is a substantial part of this role we will carry out comprehensive drivers checks and ensure these meet our insurance provider’s requirements. To be considered for the role applicants must;
- Be aged 21 or over
- Have a full UK Driver’s License with no more than 6 penalty points
- Not have any motoring convictions resulting in disqualification within the last 5 years
Please note this role is subject to satisfactory references and a basic DBS check
