We're looking for our next Advertising & Media Executive Apprentice to join the Hunterlodge team.
This is an opportunity to learn how advertising really works from the inside, gaining hands-on experience across
- Client services
- Media planning and buying, digital, creative, content and campaign performance.
- You don't need previous agency experience. In fact, we don't expect you to arrive knowing how to plan a media campaign, write a client brief or analyse campaign performance.
That's what we're going to teach you.
What we do want is someone curious, ambitious, comfortable with numbers, interested in advertising and digital media, and who has a huge desire to keep learning.
What you'll be doing
You'll work alongside experienced Account Managers, Account Directors and Media specialists, supporting real campaigns for real clients.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities.

- Understanding how media budgets are allocated
- Learning how media is negotiated and bought

- Working with our creative, content, digital and data teams to bring campaigns together
Performance, Data & Reporting
Data is a big part of modern advertising, so you'll learn how to:
- Monitor campaign performance
- Work with data to identify trends and insights
- Understand metrics such as impressions, reach, clicks, CTR, CPC and conversions
- Help prepare client reports
- Contribute to post-campaign analysis
- Turn results into recommendations for future campaigns
Commercial & Financial Skills
You'll also learn the commercial side of working in an agency, including:
- Preparing estimates and quotes
- Raising purchase orders and invoices
- Tracking campaign budgets
- Reconciling costs
- Understanding how projects and accounts perform financially
What we're looking for
We're looking for potential, not years of experience.
You'll ideally be someone who:

Training to be provided
Advertising & Media Executive Level 3 Standard
An advertising and media executive will help with the day to day progress of the whole advertising process, from receiving the brief from the marketing team, including objectives, budget and timescales, through to the measurement of how effective the advertisement has been. In their daily work, they will interact with many other people, processes and systems. (For example the client, 3rd party suppliers, the broad team at the agency.) They help campaigns move forward, coping with inevitable setbacks and changes in direction (some at the last minute), whilst showing collaboration and maintaining relationships with all. Usually, they report to an Account or Media Manager.
They usually specialise in one of two parts of the advertising process: the first is the process of producing the advertisement (creative); the second is the process of distributing the advertisement (media). Apprentices must therefore complete the core apprenticeship and one of these options.
