Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid background in hotel or hospitality environments, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding our organisation’s reputation for excellence and ensuring smooth operational flow during their shift.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments deliver outstanding guest service.
- Supervise and support staff, including food & beverage teams, fostering a positive work environment.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure operational efficiency, including event management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
- Manage administrative tasks such as reporting, shift handovers, and maintaining accurate records of incidents or operational issues.
- Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing leadership to promote high standards of service delivery.
- Support in scheduling, performance monitoring, and staff development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience within thehospitality industry is essential.
- Prior experience in guest services or customer relations is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to staff management and development.

Due to the seasonal nature of the business, this role can be for a fixed term 4 month contract or a permanent position.
Pay: £15.50 per hour
