Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Live-In Carer to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their private residence. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of clients, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities
- Provide personalised care according to individual care plans, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support clients with daily routines, including meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor and report on clients’ health status, liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, Office staff and team members to ensure consistent and effective care delivery.
- Assist with medication management as per prescribed instructions.
- Ensure the safety of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following organisational policies.
- Support clients’ emotional well-being through empathetic communication and companionship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation needs.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised care routines effectively.
- Good understanding of IT systems used for documentation and communication purposes.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
- Flexibility to work full-time hours in a live-in capacity, working on a rota basis of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Can be flexible for client and carer requirements. This role is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing compassionate support within a professional setting, ensuring the dignity and comfort of those they assist.
Pay: £134.41-£160.41 per day
