We are a rapidly growing logistics company looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our key warehouse shifts. This role is critical to ensuring our products are processed, stored, and shipped accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Nightshift Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team of warehouse opperatives, including delegation of tasks, performance management, and continuous coaching.
- Overseeing all daily shift operations, including inbound receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
- Monitoring and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and meet operational targets.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Managing shift labour and resources effectively to meet the workload demand.
- Collaborating with other Managers at site to ensure smooth transition between shifts.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any operational issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
- Proven ability to interpret data and use metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- A firm commitment to creating a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements
