The Role
We are seeking a fully skilled Sign Maker with a proven track record in the signage industry. This is a hands-on, varied role, requiring experience across all aspects of sign manufacture and graphics application. You’ll be involved in both workshop production and site installation, working on a wide range of projects for diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble a variety of signage types
- Operate sign making machinery, including vinyl plotters, printers, laminators, and laser cutters
- Apply and fit printed vinyl graphics to a high standard
- Work confidently with different substrates, signage systems, and individual letters
- Make safe and competent electrical connections for illuminated signs
- Ensure every project is completed with accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the signage industry
- Strong technical knowledge of sign manufacture and installation
- Practical problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- A professional, positive, and proactive attitude
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
- CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
- Willingness to work overtime when required (paid at time-and-a-half)
