Job Title: Support Worker
Job Summary:
We are looking for a new Support Worker to work at our home is located in Oldbury, the hours are mornings, afternoons, day shifts, nights and sleeps in these are over a 6 week Rota to include every other weekend.
Shift times are: 07:30-20:00, 11:18:00 and 19:00-07:30 (Sleep) and Wakes if required
Our homes support adults with Learning disabilities and mental health/ Challenging Behaviour.
Duties:
- Personal Care
- Documenting/Report writing
- Medication Administration
- Accompany on activities/health professional appointment
- Support with cooking & Cleaning of the home
- supporting our service users in their day to day lives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with Mental Health, Learning disabilities or special needs is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
A NVQ Level 2 in health and social care is preferred, if not training will be provided.
It is preferred that you have at least 1 years experience in health and social care.
