Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition for the comfort and satisfaction of our guests. You will be required to work every other weekend, and also cover annual leave.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Change bed linens and towels in guest rooms or designated areas.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
Skills
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, particularly in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
- Strong background in hospitality with an understanding of guest expectations for cleanliness.
- Janitorial experience is an asset, showcasing familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
