Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one practical LGV driver training (C1, C and C+E.)
- Prepare candidates for DVSA practical driving tests.
- Build confidence and adapt your coaching style to suit each individual learner.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, road safety and customer care.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure training vehicles are clean, safe and well presented.
- Complete training records and any required company paperwork accurately.
- Represent Twinway professionally at all times.
- Support learners throughout their journey from first lesson to test day.
- Contribute to maintaining Twinway's excellent reputation for professionalism and high-quality driver development.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence held for a minimum of 3 years.
- An excellent driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
- A calm, patient and encouraging approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional attitude with high personal standards.
- The ability to motivate and inspire confidence in others.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive team-focused approach.
Previous instructor experience and 3A off road examiner qualification would be an advantage, but for the right person, full instructor training can be provided.
