Working for Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS - part of GreenSquareAccord) www.gdass.org.uk, GDASS provides support to victims of domestic abuse (16+) living in Gloucestershire.
Your role will include:
Providing practical, emotional and advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.
Completing risk assessments (including DASH) and developing personalised support and safety plans.
Supporting clients to understand the dynamics of domestic abuse and identify pathways to recovery.
Working alongside housing providers, police, health professionals and other agencies to ensure clients receive coordinated support.
Assisting clients with legal, housing and welfare appointments where appropriate.
Helping individuals access community groups, services and activities to reduce isolation and build independence.
Supporting clients moving into new accommodation, including practical resettlement support.
Delivering telephone support via the domestic abuse helpline when required.
Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Facilitating groups for children and young people where appropriate.

About you
Experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse or other complex support needs.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
An understanding of confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries.
Excellent communication, advocacy and relationship-building skills.
The ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively.
A proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
