Overview
We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our professional automotive team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and be capable of conducting MOT tests and general vehicle repairs. Duties
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal and safety standards, ensuring vehicles meet required regulations.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks, including brake servicing, tyre replacements, and suspension work.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various repair procedures.
- Assist with diagnostics to identify underlying mechanical faults using specialised equipment.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely when moving or installing vehicle components.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out and ensure documentation complies with industry standards.
- Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
