Company Overview - Warehouse Operative / Forklift / Admin
Our Client provide servicing and repair to life safety systems throughout Scotland and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to run our small warehouse in an independent roll.
Warehouse Operative / Forklift / Admin:
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, collection, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage and control all materials entering and leaving the warehouse, including the safe unloading and loading of deliveries.
- Assist with the segregation, breakdown, and disposal of recyclable materials in line with company procedures.
- Deliver materials to various site locations as required using a company-provided van.
- Support the procurement process by assisting with the ordering and replenishment of stock and materials.
- Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s stock management system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide support with additional duties as required to meet operational needs and deliver excellent customer service.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics role.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence.
- Training can be provided for suitable candidates who do not currently hold a licence.
- Experience using stock control or inventory management systems.
