Senior Pharmacy Technician - Medication Management Specialist (Pharmacy)
Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading providers of mental health services. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, and we are expanding our Medication Management Service (MMS) to support patients with neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD.
We are now seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team for a 6-month fixed term contract and play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused medication management across our services.
This is a pivotal role bridging the gap between patients, clinicians, triage, and pharmacy services. You will support the safe initiation and ongoing management of medications, ensuring clinicians and patients are fully prepared and supported throughout the prescribing journey.
Working closely with pharmacists, prescribers, and the wider clinical team, you will help drive efficiency, safety, and continuity of care across both NHS Right to Choose (RTC) and private patient pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage prescription requests and repeat medications, ensuring alignment with clinical recommendations.

Support safe titration by ensuring accurate clinical information and acting as a key contact for medication queries.

Liaise with prescribers, primary care, and pharmacies to coordinate shared care, and respond to any formulary queries.

Management of medication monitoring and prescriptions for patients where share care agreements have been declined by General Practice.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.

Act as a central liaison between triage, admin, and MMS, prioritising workload and improving prescribing efficiency.

Support electronic prescribing systems (EPS) and related administrative processes.

Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality standards.

Contribute to medication safety through audits and incident reporting.
Requirements:

Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience, ideally within mental health or ADHD services.

Strong understanding of electronic prescribing systems and medication management processes.

Experience liaising with primary care and community pharmacy settings.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

Experience handling confidential information in line with data protection standards.

Experience within mental health or ADHD-focused services would be desirable.

Knowledge of Shared Care Agreements and NHS Right to Choose pathways.

Experience with Controlled Drugs regulations in a private healthcare setting.

Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) would be desirable.

Background in NHS and/or private healthcare environments.
Remuneration and Benefits:

£35,000 - £40,000 (DOE) annual salary
