Management Accountant Military Charity | London Hybrid | Up to £45,000 | FTC with Permanent Potential
We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UKs most respected military charities, with over 140 years of history supporting veterans and service leavers. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join a small, experienced finance team in London.
The Role
You will report to the Head of Finance and take ownership of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will liaise with Directors, operational managers, and the fundraising team to monitor funding streams, prepare audit-ready financial statements, and support finance process improvement.
This is a hybrid position with a minimum of two days per week in the London office. The role is offered initially on a fixed-term basis with a genuine view to permanence.
What You Will Need
- Qualified or part-qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Solid hands-on experience in management accounting
- Confident producing accounts to tight deadlines
- Able to present financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
- Comfortable working with autonomy in a values-led environment
Desirable
- Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector
- Familiarity with Xero
- Working knowledge of VAT and Gift Aid
