Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring that all patrons have a positive experience while adhering to regulations and policies. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, managing crowd control, and implementing loss prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
- Conduct thorough checks of bags and belongings as necessary to prevent prohibited items from entering.
- Implement effective crowd management techniques to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid assistance when required.
- Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within and around the venue.
- Collaborate with security personnel and law enforcement as needed to maintain order.
- Maintain a visible presence at entry points to deter potential disturbances or unlawful behaviour.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
Skills
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
- Proficient in the use of surveillance systems, including CCTV monitoring.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; ability to provide immediate assistance in emergencies is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patrons and staff.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in challenging situations.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
