A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kidderminster is looking to appoint a Primary SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team from September 2026. What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting children in one-to-one and small group interventions to build confidence and accelerate learning.
- Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Providing additional support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Preparing classroom resources and assisting with the organisation of learning activities.
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day.
- Getting involved in the wider life of the school, including clubs, educational visits, themed learning days, and school events.
What We're Looking For:
- A recent graduate in any subject area.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children.
- An interest in progressing into primary teaching, educational psychology, SEND, speech and language therapy, or another education-based career.
