Operational activities - Customs & Foreign Trade Compliance
Customs Operations Supervisor M/F
Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:30, 37.5 hours per week
- Responsible for effective/efficient working practices with the customers.
- Constantly looking to improve GW margins (reduce costs – increase profits)
- All day to day operational activities for named account
- Oversee and manage SLA and contracts between client and Geodis to ensure customs compliance at all times.
- Responsible for extensive reporting including monthly customs reports
- Execution of strategic plans to develop and maintain long-term partnership with the customer and their nominated stakeholders.
- Attend meetings on and off site to develop relationship with customer and other stakeholders
- Working with supply chain management teams where applicable.
- Control over customer interactions in the form of volumes, revenues, and also profitability. All of these are measured on a monthly basis.
- Act as the customer's ambassador internally at Geodis
- Sell complete solutions and concepts in collaboration with internal colleagues and Management
- Capitalise on all sales activities within the organisation
- Organise and work in a project management type approach
