We are seeking a wills, trust and probate lawyer whether a solicitor or CILEX qualified. Ideally with 5 years PQE, who is able to handle a case load independently.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident solicitor with strong technical knowledge and a client-focused approach to manage a varied private client caseload. You will work with a loyal client base, including individuals, families and high-net-worth clients, providing clear, practical and sensitive advice.
The Role
You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Trusts
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Inheritance tax planning
- Advice to elderly and vulnerable clients
You will be expected to manage your own caseload independently but with appropriate support, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the department.
The Candidate
We are looking for a solicitor / CILEX fellow with solid private client experience, ideally around 5+ years’ PQE or equivalent, although all candidates with the right experience will be considered.
You should have:
- Strong technical knowledge across private client law
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The ability to manage files independently
- A professional, empathetic and commercially aware approach
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to support business development and maintain strong referrer relationships
