Job Description – Evening Park Warden
Location: Ballywalter, Co. Down, Northern Ireland
Position: Part-Time, Seasonal August - November

Hours of Work
· August – November: 25.5 hours per week
· Shift Pattern: Evening / Night work, Fri Sat Sun, 17:00 – 02:00 (alternative hours may be considered by agreement)
Salary & Benefits
· £13.00 per hour (depending on experience)
· PPE and uniform provided
· In-house training provided where required
Role Overview
We are seeking a responsible and trustworthy Evening Park Warden to support the safe and smooth operation of our holiday parks during evening / night hours. The role is key to maintaining security, ensuring compliance with park rules, and providing reassurance and assistance to our customers. The successful applicant must be comfortable working independently, patrolling the parks on foot, and responding calmly and professionally to incidents, customer enquiries, and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact during night hours for residents and touring customers
- Responsibility for answering the park mobile phones, answering calls professionally and logging incidents where required
- Carrying out regular and ad-hoc foot patrols of all caravan park areas, facilities, and access points
- Monitoring noise levels and behaviour, ensuring compliance with park rules, and dealing with disturbances in a calm and professional manner
- Responding to incidents such as resetting electrical trips, minor emergencies, or customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary
- Monitoring site security, including gates, lighting, and communal areas
- Wearing and operating a body camera in line with company policy (training provided)
- Completing daily timesheets, patrol logs, and recording relevant information in the park diary
- Maintaining a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance to customers
- Willingness to cover additional hours in the event of staff shortage, illness, or increased operational demand
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Good mobility and physical capability for walking, manual handling, and outdoor work
- Full UK Driving Licence (must be presented at interview)
- Ability to work unsupervised, make sound decisions, and remain calm under pressure
- Enjoy outdoor work and be physically capable of walking patrols in all weather conditions
- Professional appearance and behaviour at all times
· Strong communication skills and ability to deal confidently with the public

First Aid qualification
SIA Licence
Additional Information
· An Access NI Basic Certificate is required
- Induction and equipment training will be provided
- You will be required to carry out any other duties as specified by the Directors to facilitate the operational needs of the Company at any location where the Company is trading
