Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs or maintenance
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Diagnose complex mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks to move engines, transmissions, or other large parts safely and effectively
- Maintain accurate service records and document all repairs performed with attention to detail
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications to uphold quality standards
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or maintenance roles
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in automotive settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine repair tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with an active approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced automotive environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: £26,260.28-£47,435.90 per year
