Gabor Logistics Ltd are seeking reliable Drivers to join our team.
Your job will involve driving a lorry to transport event equipment from warehouses to various locations such as event venues, hotels and outdoor festivals.
You would not only navigate routes but also assist in loading and unloading the equipment pieces safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
Skills
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of UK road regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle and transport equipment and furniture safely and securely
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork and delivery documentation
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations on the road
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and ability to use them effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different weather conditions and varying schedules
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform minor repairs if needed

Pay: £18.00 per hour
