The Speech House Hotel is a 35 bedroom hotel, with an informal dining area in the Orangery, and function facilities for weddings and conferences. Our customers are what makes us, and we want to provide them with the best experience from the first step they take into the hotel, to when they leave.
Position: Gardener / Groundskeeper – for 20 hours a week.
We’re looking to hire a Gardener to look after the grounds of the hotel, from the carpark, through to flower beds, foliage on the exterior of the hotel, our gardens (including grass cutting) and any outdoor public areas. Gardening experience required.
Duties would include:
- Grass cutting
· Tending to flower beds
· Planting, weeding and watering
· Keeping the outside areas of the hotel litter free and tidy
· Able to communicate and provide top standard of service to guests attending the hotel
· Managing the exterior of the hotel building as well as the grounds

Variable shifts are offered but the candidate must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
