Job Title: Damp & Mould Surveyor (Self-Employed)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to carry out surveys across social housing properties. This role is ideal for a self-employed professional seeking a regular stream of work, with flexible working days and a competitive rate of pay (negotiable). Experience of disrepair would be beneficial.
We can offer anywhere from 1 day a week to supliment existing employment, up to full time.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct damp and mould surveys in social housing properties.
- Accurately assess the extent and cause of damp and mould issues.
- Provide clear, detailed, and professional reports with recommendations for remedial action.
- Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and contractors where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety and housing standards.
- Liaise with disrepair
Requirements
- Proven experience in damp and mould surveying within residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of building pathology relating to moisture, condensation, and ventilation.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel between properties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Disrepair experience is prefered but not essential
