The Role
A fantastic exciting career graded post which will be working within the IT Information Team to facilitate Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and Data Protection (DP) requests.
The successful candidate will work within the Information Team primarily processing and providing legislative responses to requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and Data Protection Act.

The Experience you will bring
If you are an enthusiastic individual with excellent knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and the Data Protection Act and would like to work within a busy challenging team then look no further. We are looking for an individual who is highly customer focused and a self-motivated professional.
Full career development including studying and professional examinations within Data Protection and Freedom of Information with professional courses will be provided to the successful candidates

We are changing
North Herts Council (NHC) is undergoing Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). If you are employed by NHC on 1 April 2028, it is expected that the majority of roles will transfer to the newly-created unitary councils on existing terms and conditions under TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings – Protection of Employment) principles.
