Part-Time Early Years Practitioner – Baby & Toddler Room
Tots & Teepees Day Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring individual to join our friendly team.
At Tots & Teepees, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where children can learn through play. We encourage the use of natural resources and open-ended play, creating a calm, safe and stimulating space for every child to thrive.
This position is based in our Baby & Toddler Room. We are a rural nursery and love spending time outdoors, whether exploring the countryside or enjoying activities in our own garden. Our nursery is split across two rooms: Baby & Toddler and Preschool.
Hours
- Part-time, 48 weeks per year
- Working up to 8:00am–4:30pm, four days per week
- Guaranteed minimum shift of 9:00am–3:15pm
- Working hours will be discussed with the successful candidate and may vary to meet the needs of the nursery.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, reliable and caring
- Passionate about supporting young children's learning and development
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Happy to work outdoors and take part in a range of creative and sensory activities
Previous experience working in an early years setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
DBS Check
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. If you do not currently have one, we will arrange your application as part of the recruitment process.
