Are you an experienced Dental Therapist with 5+ years of clinical experience looking for a role where you can use your skills, develop your interests and become an important part of a supportive dental team?
We are looking for a confident and motivated Dental Therapist-Direct Access to join one of our Manchester practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who enjoys delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care and who has, or would like to develop, a special interest in Periodontics, Endodontics or Oral Surgery.
You will provide a broad range of dental therapy and hygiene services to NHS and private patients, with the opportunity to develop your clinical interests.
Your role may include:
- Direct Access dental therapy and hygiene services.
- Periodontal assessment, treatment and maintenance.
- Non-surgical periodontal therapy and ongoing periodontal care.
- Preventive dentistry and oral health education.
- Working with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Supporting the management of patients with more complex periodontal needs.
- Developing an interest in endodontics, periodontics or oral surgery within your scope of practice.
- Identifying patients requiring referral and working collaboratively with the wider clinical team.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with patients.
We're looking for an experienced clinician who is:
- GDC registered as a Dental Therapist.
- Has at least 5 years' clinical experience.
- Qualified and confident to provide Direct Access services.
- Experienced in delivering high-quality hygiene and periodontal care.
- Passionate about preventive and patient-centred dentistry.
- Confident working independently while being a strong team player.
- Interested in developing a particular clinical interest in Periodontics, Endodontics and/or Oral Surgery.
- Excellent at communicating with patients and motivating them to improve their oral health.
A postgraduate qualification or additional training in one of these areas would be advantageous, but we are equally interested in experienced therapists who are keen to develop further.
