We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers to ensure a secure work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople by handling materials, tools, and equipment needed for roofing, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and carpentry tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to aid in construction activities such as plastering, fabrication, or masonry work
- Help with the installation of roofing systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, and construction painting as directed by supervisors
- Follow schematics and blueprints to assist with structural fabrication and assembly tasks
- Perform general site maintenance including cleaning work areas and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Contribute to the overall progress of projects by completing assigned tasks promptly and accurately
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is highly desirable
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, or carpentry will be considered an asset
- Ability to read schematics or blueprints is advantageous but not required
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions are essential
