Ifp-labs UK West Yorkshire is a UKAS accredited Laboratory that has been providing analytical services to the food industry for over 30 years. We are a fast-growing company based across two buildings.
We are looking for someone to join our Transport team as a Relief Driver.
As a first line representative of ifp-labs each courier should be clean and smartly dressed, act in a professional and friendly manner and ensure that the vehicle is presentable.
Duties will include:
Collecting samples from customers as scheduled by the Transport Manager.
Liaising with administrative staff with relation to additional collections.
Ensure the temperature of the refrigerators are checked at each visit to the laboratory and the temperature records filled in.
Complete valet of vehicle after use, including thorough cleaning of the inside of the vehicle.
Engine and vehicle inspections should be done on a daily basis.
Applicants should consider this a physical role which includes lifting.
Successful candidates must hold a full clean driving license and be confident with the UK road networks. Please note candidates must be over 21, for insurance purposes.
As this is a relief role shifts are variable across Monday to Sunday depending on shift cover requirements. Overtime will be required.
The hours of work will vary depending on the needs of the department.
Please note the shift start times may vary and candidates should be prepared to start at 4am when required.
